Higher education institutions’ management, developments in the profession of teacher-researcher, reflection on the Catholic identity of our universities… These are all issues that call for common reflection and training. In 2017, IFCU creates its Training Department, offering a wide range of training programs. In addition to the proposed agenda, IFCU is also willing to respond to specific demands of universities and to organize specific programs on all continents.
In a context of globalization of higher education and research, affected by the disruptive use of new technologies, Catholic universities are concerned as protagonists of a world in which they assume an essential role, as they transmit values and knowledge and participate to the creation of the world to come through their researchers’ production.
The IFCU must accompany this movement and even anticipate it. It is in this prospect that we are pleased to announce the creation of our Training Center. Based on the successful experience of the Rectors’ leadership program, two editions of which have proved very rewarding, several programs will now be offered by IFCU to affiliated institutions in order to reinforce the skills of different staff and to enable them to draw benefit from the richness brought about by exchange between peers sharing common values and issues.
If required, our expertise, combined with that of our international network of specialists, will enable us to answer specific requests by assisting you in the analysis and formalization of your other training needs in order to offer tailor-made programs fit for your objectives and context.
You will find here short descriptions of the first programs we will be offering. Detailed information on contents, facilitators, fees, exact dates and venues will be made available soon. If you are interested in one of these proposals or wish to host a session in your institution, please get in touch with us.
We remain at your disposal for any further information.
